The National Park of Gargano
In 1991 the whole area was placed under the safeguard of the National Park of Gargano - Italy’s largest park (120.000 ha). It comprises of 12 different ecosystems and has the highest degree of biodiversity in Europe.
Cotup
Cotup is the Consortium of Apulian Tour Operators. It was established in 1969 and now comprises over 300 companies which are representative of the regional tourist sector. The main target of the Consortium is to promote tourism in the territory.
Fauna and Flora
The National Park of Gargano consists of approx 121.118 hectares and comprises of a series of unique habitats.
Food-and-wine connoisseurship
The Apulian gastronomy comprises of extra-virgin olive oil, bread, cheese, fresh fish and vegetables, skillfully combined in typical dishes like orecchiette and fish soup.
Cycle-touring routes
There is nothing better than to cycle around in order to thoroughly discover this enchanted mountain that plunges into the Adriatic Sea, so rich in charm and with gorgeous landscapes.
Boat tours
You can leave from Vieste or Pugnochiuso and you can visit the beautiful Marine Caves by boat travelling along the coast.
Kayak routes
You can take a Kayak from the bay of Pugnochiuso, which are available at the village, to explore the wonderful caves along the ragged coast to the south and north of the resort.
