Vieste

Vieste is the main tourist centre of Gargano and is approx 20 km from Pugnochiuso. The Pizzomunno rock is a 25-metre-high natural white monolith situated at the entrance to the cities' coastline.
 

Mattinata

Mattinata is the only village of the Adriatic Apulia that faces southward; it is about 20 km from Pugnochiuso. It is a piedmont type village with the sea dominating  the landscape.
 

Along the Lombard Sacred Route

Gargano inland offers several different destinations, all interesting form the historical, natural and religious points of view, such as Monte S.Angelo and S.Giovanni Rotondo.
 

The Tremiti archipelago

The Tremiti Islands are located only 10 miles off the coast. The archipelago is made up of three main islands, San Domino, San Nicola and Capraia, and the small and uninhabited island of Cretaccio as well as a renowned rock named La Vecchina (the old woman).
 

Alberobello

This is a small unique  town dating back to the second half of the 16th century. It lies on two hills which are rich in vegetation, especially with almond and olive trees which grow on a Caustic soil.
