The resort is situated on the Apulian coast of Gargano, within the National Park on the borders of the Umbrian Forest.
It is 20 km from Vieste and approx 30 km from Mattinata in an area of 150 Ha. Located in a beautiful position, the Resort slopes towards the crystal clear sea of two adjacent bays: the bay of Pugnochiuso, from which the resort draws its name, and the bay of Portopiatto.

The Pugnochiuso Resort comprises  of villas, hotels and private properties managed by various tenants’ associations. Additional facilities and services are owned by the Marcegaglia Group such as the 4* Hotel Del Faro, 3* Hotel degli Ulivi,  Villette delle Macine, Residence Belvedere, the Conference Centre, and the Shopping Centre "La Piramide"  which are managed and promoted under the brand name "MARCEGAGLIA tourism".
