The Resort

Pugnochiuso Resort stands on the Apulian promontory of the Gargano, within the homonymous National Park on the edge of the Umbra Forest. It is located 20 kilometres from Vieste and approximately 25 kilometres from Mattinata, covering an area of roughly 150 hectares, in a beautiful location sloping down towards the sea with two adjacent bays of crystalline sea: the bay of Pugnochiuso, from which the resort takes its name and the bay of Portopiatto.

THE RESORT

The resort, purchased by the Marcegaglia Group in 2001, has continued over the years to modernize its services and accommodation facilities, becoming part of the Marcegaglia Group’s
tourist centres. Today, Pugnochiuso is able to offer the best solutions to meet all holiday expectations thanks to its various tourist offers, making it the ideal resort for families and couples.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS

Entrance to the Resort is limited by a barrier beyond which only authorized people, for example with a hotel reservation, can gain entrance. The resort’s Front Office Desk is near the barrier.
In the area of roughly 150 hectares there are approximately 2 kilometres of roads that connect the various structures. The shuttle bus allows you to move easily to all areas of the resort and to leave your car in the reserved parking area near the Front Office Desk. The different residential properties coexist amiably with the summer season life of the Resort, organized for the guests of Pugnochiuso.

ACCOMMODATION

Pugnochiuso Resort consists of privately owned facilities, villas, residences and services managed by different condominium associations and by structures and services owned by the Marcegaglia Group such as: The Del Faro Hotel ****, the Hotel degli Ulivi *** , Villette Belvedere, the Conference Centre and the “La Piramide” Shopping Centre.
